 JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – Two Indonesian surveyor, Vox Populi Research Center and Charta Politika, puts Joko Widodo – Ma’ruf Amin pair ahead Prabowo Subianto – Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno. The election day just a few week from now.

Vox Populi reported the electability Widodo – Amin recorded 54.1 percent while Subianto – Uno by 33.6 percent, or a difference of 20.5 percent. While Charta Politika survey showed Widodo – Amin pair lead 18.2 percent over the contender, with 53.6 percent versus 35.4 percent.

Vox Populi also rated that most of the public were satisfied with the performance of the Widodo’ government, which amounted to 71.3 percent and 28.7 percent were dissatisfied.

Infrastructure development of Widodo’s government program is an indicator of performance satisfaction, which is as much as 77.6 percent, while as many as 22.4 percent feel dissatisfied with infrastructure development.

Another indicator that encourages satisfaction is corruption handling, which is 76.2 percent, international relations 72.4 percent, law enforcement 71.7 percent, education 71.2 percent, health, 63.8 percent, and issues of human rights protection 58, 1 percent.

While, economic issues, such as employment and food prices were the lowest indicators of community satisfaction with Widodo’ administration performance, with only 48 percent feeling satisfied, but 52 percent feeling dissatisfied. Then, in the issue of food prices, as many as 53.8 percent of the people were dissatisfied and only 46.2 percent considered satisfied.

Meanwhile, the Charta Politika survey stated that the level of satisfaction with government performance was quite good, which was stable at 65.9 percent and less satisfied by 32.3 percent.

The surveyor also noted that the two presidential and vice-presidential candidates experienced a rise in votes compared to the previous survey. In a survey conducted in January, Widodo – Amin received 53.2 percent and Subianto – Uno was 34.1 percent.

Comparing with the previous results, the electability trend of the two partners still stagnated, in which Widodo – Amin tended to decline slightly, but Subianto – Uno showed a slight increase.

However, if conducted by the extrapolation, the incumbent pairs remain superior by 60 percent and Subianto – Uno by 39.8 percent. When compared to the previous Kompas survey, the level of extrapolation between the two partners was not far wider, where the Widodo – Amin was 56.8 percent and Subianto – Uno was 43.2 percent.

While the level of stability of choice between the two candidates was high, it ranged from 80 percent, with the pair Widodo – Amin at 82.8 percent and others at 80.6 percent. Then, the voters who may still change in pair number 01 are 10.8 percent and pair number 02 is 14.1 percent.

In terms of region, the Widodo – Amin pair is superior in almost all regions except in the Sumatra region. If Subianto – Uno excels in Sumatra by 48.3 percent and Widodo – Amin 43.3 percent, in areas such as Central Java, Yogyakarta, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara, the Widodo – Amin mate excels far above the Subianto – Uno. Margin more than 30 percent.

In terms of party choice, in general the solidity of political party voters is in line with the support for their partners, in which the Demokrasi Indonesia Perjuangan Party as the leading party reached 92.5 percent of solidarity in support, while the Gerindra Party as the was 88.5 percent.

However, in the March 1-9 periods survey, Charta Politika noted that 11 percent of respondents did not know or did not answer the question about who the presidential and vice presidential candidates were chosen.
