Bitcoin Price Drops in 3rd week December

Bitcoin price was dropping on a daily basis in the third week of December caused sales for Christmas and New Year holidays. In the last two years, Bitcoin price hikes on average trump its decrease. Other factor that weakens Bitcoin is investors’ preference to buy cheaper cryptocurrencies, such as Ethereum and Lite Coin. Toba Bara Publish Notes US$250 Million

PT Toba Bara Sejahtera Tbk (IDX: TOBA) intends to issue Notes up to US$250 millio on the Singapore stock exchange, said the company on Dec. 22. According to the company, the purpose of the use of funds for the company’s debt and equity investment in electricity projects and mining companies. Notes have a maturity of 5 years with a maximum interest rate of 10 per cent per year. This transaction must be approved by the General Meeting of the Extraordinary Shareholders on Jan. 31, 2018.

PLN to Operate 23 New Power Plants in Natuna Regency
State power company PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) will operate new diesel engine power plants in Natuna Regency. The plants have a combined capacity of 23.5 megawatts (MW), said egional director for Sumatra, Wiluyo Kusdwiharto in a written statement on Dec. 24. He said the power planst will be ready to operate at the end of 2017. He added that the additional power supply is aimed at attracting investors to Natuna.

SKKMigas to Control Badak LNG Plant Management

Special Work Unit Upstream Oil and Gas (SKK Migas) starting Jan. 1, 2018 will have control on operations and costs in liquefied natural gas (LNG) Badak in East Kalimantan. The transition of control from state-owned energy firm PT Pertamina Joint Management Group to SKK Migas was entering a new phase with the agreement of the main points of the terms between the parties. The contractor in the work area Central, Sanga-Sanga, East Kalimantan, Makassar, Rapak, Muara Bakau, and Mahakam, and PT Badak Natural Gas Liquefaction. SKKMigas said, for the year 2018, the production of LNG from Badak NGL reach 50 percent of national production.
