JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – Directorate General for Air Transportation at the Ministry has revealed five airline operators that have shown high on-time (OTP) records in 2017. The five airlines are NAM Air with OTP score of 92.62 percent (29,832 flights), Batik Air 88.66 per cent, Garuda Indonesia 88.53 per cent, Sriwijaya Air 88.69 per cent and Citilink 88.33 per cent.

Garuda Indonesia which has been scoring highest OTP in the past dropped its position due to crew scheduling issue, said Director General for Transportation Agus Santoso. In 2017, domestic airlines recorded 828,608 flights in serving domestic passengers, up 8.5 per cent from previous year of 763,522 flights.
