The company was established in 1991 as a wholly owned subsidiary of bank pdfci. In 1999, following bank pdfci ‘s merger into bank danamon, the company was taken over by a consortium led by jap owen ronadhi. In 2003, the company’s name was changed into pt brent securities with the following ownership composition: 44% held by the private equity group represented by yandi s. gondoprawiro, 31% by natpac group of hongkong , 10% by jap owen ronadhi and 15% by employees.
Brent securities was founded on the belief that companies, fund providers and investors require a specialist securities company that focuses on quality investment banking services for high-growth mid-cap and large companies with a common interest. This belief has proven sound since 1999 when we were spun-off from pdfci bank following the merger of pdfci bank into danamon bank. We have created our own identity in the financial community as a corporate finance boutique and built a network of relationships with market participants.
