Heineken Acquired Multi Bintang IDR18.99 Trillion | Company data 

(Insider Stories) - Dutch’s Heineken International BV announces to acquired 75.1 percent of shares in PT Multi Bintang Indonesia (MLBI) from Asia Pacific Breweries Limited. Last year, indirectly, Heineken had actually control 75.1 percent of MLBI shares because had already purchased 100 percent of Asia Pacific Breweries’s shares from Singapore’s Fraser & Neave (F&N).

With total shars 15,823,570 shares and yesterday prices at IDR1.2 million this mean Heineken must pay IDR18.99 trillion for the planned purchase, which will be discussed during MLBI’s extraordinary general shareholders’ meeting (RUPSLB) on July 16. Heineken did not need to launch a tender offer.
