Mustika Ratu Ventures Into Hotel Business | Kontan 

(The Insider Stories) — Mustika Ratu Investama, the parent of Indonesia’s cosmetic company Mustika Ratu (MRAT), aims to construct hotels in several cities in the near term, Kontan daily reported Tuesday.

Its in design process for a hotel in Surakarta, or Solo, in Central Java and eyeing similar projects in Jogjakarta, Semarang, and Jakarta; all located on the densely populated Java island.

The company plans to develop 120-150 rooms of three-star hotel in an up to 9,000 square meters of land in Solo by 2015, to tap the increasing number of local and foreign tourists.
