Tanoesudibjo’s MNC acquires 30% of Bank ICB Bumiputera | Company data 

(The Insider Stories) — PT MNC Kapital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP), a company controlled by Hary Tanoesudibjo whose MNC Group is Indonesia’s biggest media conglomerate, has acquired 30% in PT Bank ICB Bumiputera (BABP).

MNC Kapital director Wandhy Wira Riady informed the Financial Services Authority (OJK) that the company signed a conditional sell-and-purchase agreement with ICB Financial Group Holdings AG on April 2nd, a company statement says without giving more details.

MNC Group had previously been rumored to be eyeing a purchase of shares in Bank ICB Bumiputera and PT Bank Windu Kentjana Tbk (MCOR) through PT Bhakti Investama Tbk (BHIT), also controlled by Tanoesudibjo.
