Yanaprima Hastapersada Tbk
PT. Yanaprima Hastapersada Tbk, was established in 1995 and has grown to become one of the largest manufacturer and exporter of woven polypropylene bag and cement bags in the world.
From the earlier year, Yanaprima has adopted the philosophy to only utilize fine machinery while maintaining competitive cost. Yanaprima combined European and Asian machinery in all areas.
Currently, Yanaprima is making various products from woven polypropylene fabric including woven bags, coated / resin bags, sandwiched bags, jumbo bags / fibcs and many others.
In 2000 Yanaprima has awarded ISO 9001 certification from SAI GLOBAL for the high quality management system adopted both in production and management areas. The certificate is upgraded to ISO 9000:2000 on 2003.
In 2005 Yanaprima starting to manufacture cement bags that utilize sandwiched fabric that made from combination of woven polypropylene fabric and kraft paper that is popular in Indonesia for reducing the kraft paper usage from 5 ply to only 1 ply.
In 2008, Yanaprima listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX code: YPAS) to support our plan for future expansion from 14.000 metric ton in 2007 to 26.400 metric ton in 2012. Furthermore, in 2008 Yanaprima has become the first manufacturer in Indonesia to produce block-bottom bags from single ply of coated woven fabric. This king of bags have eliminated the need for using kraft paper in cement packaging.
