Asia Natural Resources Tbk
PT Asia Natural Resources Tbk was established in 1989, and liste in the Indonesian Stock Exchange in October 1994. Since November 14, 2002 the Shareholders of the Company have agreed to change the main activities of its bussiness from the doll making industry (as license of Walt Disney & Warnen Bros.) to commodity trading, especially for soy.
As time goes by, the Company stopped focusing on the soy commodity, but to the trading of mining commodities, especially coal, manganese, lead, and gold.
PT Asia Natural Resources Tbk has two subsidiaries, i.e. PT Asiana Niaga and PT Tekonindo. PT Asiana Niaga, whose 99.99% of shares are held by the Company, works in lead trading. PT Tekonindo, whose 65% of shares are held by the Company, works in mining (nickel).
PT Tekonindo was acquired by the Company in December 2008. Since the takeover, PT Asia Natural Resources Tbk focuses its business on mining and trading of mining results. By focusing its business in mining, the Company focuses not only on managing the domestic market, but also on the export market.
