Engaged in air transportation, PT. Indonesia Air Transport Tbk started its business on September 10, 1968, by providing aircraft charter services.
Initially , the company provided flight services to oil ,gas and mining companies on shore and off shore. Now It has been developed with medical evacuation, tourism, and commercial scheduled flights services with routes in middle and eastern Indonesia.
With 38 years of experiences in aircraft and helicopter rental service, in 2006 the Company carried out its initial Public Offering and was listed on Jakarta Stock Exchange and Surabaya Stock Exchange.
The Company once again arranged corporate action in December 2008, by releasing limited public offering 1 to the shareholders with right issue mechanism.
In order to maintain customer satisfaction by firmed commitment of safety flights, the Company always try to comply with civil Aviation Safety Regulation.
In September 2009, the company re-obtained Aircraft Operator Certificate with Category 1 certification which is issued by Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Transportation Ministry of The Republic Indonesia.
In 2008 , the company presented rotary wing fleet rejuvenation by adding 4 units of EC155 B1 ( brand new ) helicopter to fulfill the helicopter rental contracts with foreign oil companies in the Republic of Indonesia’s region.
