Realized Investment in Indonesia Forecast to Rise 20% Y/Y in Q1

Realized total investment in Indonesia is predicted to rise 20 percent in the first quarter of this year from the same period a year ago, the chief of Investment Coordinating Agency (BKPM) said on Friday (03/15).
According data from the agency, in the first three months of last year, realized investment stood at Rp 71.2 trillion.
BKPM Chief Chatib Basri said the total commitment of investment recorded by the agency last year was Rp 860 trillion. He spoke on the sideline of innauguration of Toyota’s second plant in Karawang that will assemble Toyota’s new model, Etios Valco.
He said six companies, which involve in consumer segment, automotive components and others, has realized their investment in first quarter of 2013.
