standards of safety, security,and on time performance, welcomes a brand new Airbus A320
as the addition to their constantly increasing aircraft fleet. With the new Airbus A320,
Mandala now has seven aircraft to fulfill the growing needs of Indonesians to travel.

According to the data from Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the number of airline passenger
in Indonesia shows a consistent growth from 62.3 million in 2011 to 70 million in 2012,
increasing 12.3%. As the number of people travelling with airlines keeps growing, the
market is also expected to show a steady growth in upcoming years, and Mandala Airlines is
prepared to meet such opportunities.

Airbus A320 is one of the most efficient aircraft for Mandala Airlines in accordance to its
purposes in serving the needs of modern air travelers. The best-selling single-aisle product
line from Airbus continues to set industry standards for comfort and operating economy on
short to medium-haul routes. A typical Airbus A320 seats 150 passengers in a two-class
cabin – or up to 180 in a high-density layout for low-cost and charter flights.
The A320’s advanced technology includes the extensive use of weight-saving composites, an

increasing its fleet capacity, Mandala Airlines’ milestones in less than one year period include
its recent expansion to connect Yogyakarta and Pekanbaru to a number of other cities in
Indonesia and Southeast Asia, established Airport Ticketing Office (ATO) and City Ticketing
Office (CTO) in several cities, and established local call center in March 2013.
