Indonesia’s yield curve steepened after inflation quickened to the fastest pace in 20 months, with the spread between two- and 10-year notes near the widest since June, while rupiah forwards rose for the first time in three days, Bloomberg News reported Thursday.
It said DBS Group analysts forecast Bank Indonesia to increase its interbank deposit rate after consumer prices gained a faster-than-expected 5.31% in February from a year earlier.
