Cargill to Export Gerkens Cocoa Powders to Indonesia | Wires 

(The Insider Stories) — Cargill has been granted National Standard of Indonesia (SNI) certification for its Gerkens cocoa powders produced in the Netherlands, enabling it to export the powders to Indonesia, wires report.

Job Leuning, business development director for Cargill Cocoa & Chocolate, is reported as saying: “Indonesia is an important country in a vital region. As cocoa demand continues to grow we are building up our local market presence in Asia and strengthening our cocoa business on the ground.”

Cargill has already set up a new R&D application center in Asia and has extended its Gerkens sales office to keep pace with demand.
