BNII to Raise IDR1.5T in Rights Issue | Jakarta Post
(The Insider News) - Indonesia listed lender PT Bank Internasional Indonesia (BNII) is planning to offer new shares worth Rp 1.5 trillion (US$154 million) through a preemptive rights issuance. According to a statement made public on Wednesday, the company will offload 4.69 billion new shares, which will account for 7.69 percent of its enlarged capital, priced at Rp 320 apiece. All funds to be raised, after the deduction of emission fees, will be used to support credit expansion. The company is planning to seek approval for the preemptive rights issuance in an extraordinary general meeting scheduled for May 2. If the plan is approved, the company will process the issuance and will expect to list the shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange on May 17.
