Ascott opens first Citadines in Indonesia, M’sia Wires 

March 19 (The Indiser Stories) — The Ascott Limited, CapitaLand’s serviced residence business unit, has opened its first Citadines-branded properties in Indonesia and Malaysia.

The Ascott Tuesday said it opened the 153-unit Citadines Rasuna in Jakarta and the 215-unit Citadines Uplands in Kuching to meet rising demand for serviced residences in Indonesia and Malaysia, on the back of both countries’ “strong economic fundamentals and high foreign direct investments”.

Citadines Rasuna Jakarta is part of a 30-storey integrated development that comprises offices, specialist clinics and premier medical care facilities. It caters to expatriates, business and medical travellers.

Citadines Uplands Kuching is located at Jalan Simpang Tiga, a hub for education and local federal government administration, and caters to the city’s growing meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions groups, amongst others.
