JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) - State controlled construction firm PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (IDX:WIKA) has won a tender to develop toll road, linking Cengkareng, Bau Ceper and Kunciran in the outskirt of Jakarta.
The tender was held by toll road operator PT Jasa Marga. “WIKA is proud to become part of efforts to accelerate he development of toll roads in the city and surrounding area,” said President Director of WIKA Bintang Prabowo.
The contract adds major projects that have been secured by the company recently such as Integrate Storage Tank, PLTU 1×1000 MW in CIlacap, West Java, and many others.
This year, WIKA targets to post net profit of Rp1.22 trillion, up 20.45% from last year, and contracts value amounting o Rp102.9 trillion, up from Rp83.29 trillion last year.
Meanwhile, Finance Director of WIKA Steve Kosasih said Thursday that the company expects to soon sign syndicated loans from national banks worth Rp5 trillion. The company also considers issuing bonds this year worth between Rp5 trillion to Rp10 trillion, which will be used to fund its projects. (*)
