JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – Prabowo Subianto – Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno’ lawyer team lead by Bambang Widjojanto, accused Joko Widodo – Ma’ruf Amin has abuse power, misuse State Budget, use apparatus and state-owned enterprises also law to win the 2019 presidential election.

Based on the lawsuit read by him and other lawyers, the opposition camp urged the Constitutional Court to grant all requests and avoid the presidential election resulted by General Election Commission (GEC) decision on May 21.

Then, the lawyers asked the panel of judges to declare Subianto – Uno as the winner of the presidential election by winning 52 percent national votes and Widodo – Amin 48 percent or establish the pair elected as president and vice president in 2019.

Furthermore, Widjojanto asked the court to convicted of election fraud by Widodo – Amin, canceling the results of presidential election or re-election in Indonesia and audit counting system of GEC.

Commenting on the lawsuit, chairman of the Constitutional Court Anwar Usman decided that the next trial of Subianto – Uno lawsuit will held on Tuesday (06/18). He also asked the defendants submit the response before the hearing starting at 09.00 a.m. local time.

“The trial will resume on Tuesday at 09.00 a.m. and consequently schedule will shift all. For the plaintiff please submit more physical evidence,” he said at the pre-trial hearing.

Widjojanto responded, his team has prepared 12 trucks of evidence to support the lawsuit. “There are 12 trucks of evidence that we have prepared but because the officer stated tiredness we can not be conveyed.”

While, GEC ‘lawyer Ali Nurdin and chief of the incumbent’ legal team of Yusril Ihza Mahendra had questioned on the Subianto – Uno data, caused they just filing the revision on June 10, complaint that they don’t have time to review the new lawsuit.

President Widodo itself commented he will respect the legal process at the court and followed the process until end of June. He also plan to announce his new cabinet team after the trial hearing.

Previously on May 21, the GEC announced Widodo – Amin pair has won the 2019 president election. According to the agency the incumbent polled 55.50 percent of the total national votes against 44.50 percent for their challenger, Subianto – Uno.

GEC reported Widodo – Amin won with over 85 million of the total 154 million votes cast in the world’s third-largest democracy. There was no immediate reaction from him or his campaign team.

Of the total 34 provinces, the pair won in 21 provinces and the opposition won in 13 provinces. Widodo-Amin earned 85,036,828 votes, Subianto-Uno won 68,442,493 votes. The difference between the two reached 16,594,335 votes.

The incumbent win in a number of areas such as Papua, West Papua, Central Kalimantan, West Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, Bali, Bangka Belitung, Yogyakarta, Lampung, East Kalimantan, Central Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Central Java, East Nusa Tenggara, East Java , Riau Islands, Maluku, Gorontalo, North Sumatra, and Jakarta.

While, the opposition won in Bengkulu, South Kalimantan, North Maluku, Jambi, South Sumatra, Southeast Sulawesi, West Sumatra, Banten, Aceh, NTB, West Java, South Sulawesi, and Riau provinces.

Witnesses for Subianto‘ campaign team and the leading opposition party refused to sign and validate the official results, which were announced more than a day earlier than expected after the GEC worked into the early hours of Tuesday to finish the vote count.

“This is a moral monument that we never give up to fight injustice, to fight fraud, to fight arbitrariness, to fight lies, and to fight any action that will harm democracy,” said Azis Subekti, a witness from opposition’ campaign team.
