PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya (IDX: SRTG) has acquired 1.80 million shares or equivalent 16.67 percent of energy firm PT Batu Hitam Perkasa, own by Hasyin Djojohadikusumo. The rest of Batu Hitam share 83.33 percent own by PT Agung Indonesia Mandiri. Batu Hitam Perkasa joined with Paiton Energy, International Power Plc, Mitsui and Co., Ltd. and The Tokyo Electric Power Company, Inc. run coal-gasfired power plant with capacity 1.230 mega watt in Probolinggo, East Java. Saratoga focusing their business in three key sectors such as infrastructure, consumer products & services and natural resources. Currently, Saratoga has 17 subsidiaries, nine of which are public companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange like coal producer PT Adaro Energy tbk (IDX: ADRO), tower operator PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (IDX:TBIG), plantation firm PT Provident Agro Tbk (IDX: PALM) and leasing company PT Mitra Pinasthika Mustika Tbk (IDX: MPMX).
