
JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) - Indonesian pawnshop, PT Pegadaian is targeting to raises fund up to Rp2 trillion (US$142.86 million) from Rupiah bond and SUKUK issuances, said the company yesterday. Series A with values Rp1.05 trillion have a 6.75 percent coupon and will mature on July 18, 2021.
Then, Series B worth of Rp303 billion has a coupon 7.6 percent and will mature on July 8, 2023. And, series C with total amount of Rp142 billion will have interest 7.95 percent will mature on July 8, 2025.
Pegadaian also offered three series of SUKUK. Series A have values Rp316.5 billion mature in 2021, Series B with worth of Rp103 billion due in 2023, and series C of Rp80.5 billion mature in 2025. All series offered with revenue sharing floating.
PT Bahana Sekuritas, PT BNI Sekuritas, PT Danareksa Sekuritas, PT Mandiri Sekuritas, and PT Indo Premier Sekuritas became a joint lead underwriters for the debt issuance. The company conducts a public offering period on July 2 - 3 and targeting to listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange on July 9, 2020.
To maintain the growth rate, CEO of Pegadaian, Kuswiyoto said, his company will continue to boost the development of digital applications so the customers will be able to make transactions easier and faster. He adds the company continues to collaborate with several state-owned enterprises to synergize its business.
The pawnshop was signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate with 10 state own companies in marketing and selling products. The cooperation includes the utilization of resources, products, services and network development for services and superior products.
They are PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (IDX: TLKM), PT Telekomunikasi Selular, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (IDX: BBRI), PT Finarya (LinkAja), PT Sang Hyang Sari, PT Asuransi Jasindo, PT BGR, PT Pupuk Indonesia, Perum Produksi Film Negara, and Perum Bulog.
“Currently, Pegadaian has 8,200 agents, 4,200 outlets, 2,200 sales forces, and 800,000 digital pawnshop users. The pawnshop has channeled Rp34.6 billion for environmental development, which is channeled in the natural disaster sector, education and training, health, public facilities, and religious facilities,” Kuswiyoto ended.
PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia reported, as of May 31, 21 state companies have prepared debt securities with a target up to Rp31.9 trillion in the second semester of 2020.
