JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) — The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) rocketed by 1.72 percent to 6,209.11 on the last day of trade before a week of national holiday. Miscellaneous industry has the highest hike by 2.66 percent, followed by manufacturing and finance with 2.04 percent and 2.03 percent respectively.
On Friday (05/31) foreign investors recorded Rp1.43 trillion (US$100.00 million) inflows to the stocks market. For today, the stocks market is predicted to move bullish in a range of 6,021 – 6,288 with more capital inflow, according to Indosurya Sekuritas analyst William Surya Wijaya.
The top gainer on the last day of trade was PT Mitra Komunikasi Nusantara Tbk (IDX: MKNT) share by 34.5 percent to Rp148 a piece. Furthermore, PT Jaya Agra Wattie Tbk (IDX: JAWA) stock jumped by 30.2 percent to Rp138 a share and PT Sejahteraraya Anugrahjaya Tbk (IDX: SRAJ) increased by 25 percent to Rp280 each.
PT Tifico Fiber Indonesia (IDX: TFCO) experienced the lowest fall on the last day of trade by 21.1 percent to Rp560 a share. Then PT Bali Towerindo Sentra Tbk (IDX: BALI) slumped 15.2 percent to Rp1,780 each, after became one of the top gainers a day before. Meanwhile, PT Tira Austenite (IDX: TIRA) declined by 12.3 percent to Rp200 a piece.
PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk (IDX: TPIA)
Chandra Asri received government’ incentive tax holiday facility from its $380 million polyethylene plant. Company gets revenue tax deduction by 100 percent for the first 10 years after commercial production, then 50 percent for the following 2 years. The new plant added Chandra Asri’ polyethylene capacity by 400,000 tonnes annually from the recent capacity at 336,000 tonnes annually.
PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk (IDX: TOWR)
Sarana Menara will add 13,600 kilometers optical fiber networks, mostly in Java and Sumatera, in the third quarter. The tower company has 27,000 kilometers optical fiber development in its pipeline. This year, Sarana Menara is going to add 700 base transceiver stations, from the recent 17,437 stations.
PT Bali Bintang Sejahtera
Bali United, the first soccer team to be listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange tagged its Initial Public Offering (IPO) price at Rp175 per share, higher than the first offering price at Rp100-Rp150. Bali United is offering 2 billion shares or 33.33 percent of its capital, and expected to be listed on June 17.
PT Star Petrochem Tbk (IDX: STAR)
Shareholders meeting of Star Petrochem has agreed to change the company’ name into PT Buana Artha Anugerah Tbk. Not only that, Star Petrochem will hold right issue for 10 billion shares at the most.
