JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) was closed down 1.08 percent or 65.83 points at 6,033.14 from the previous day which closed up 0.69 percent or 41.62 points at 6,098.97. For today, the composite index is estimated corrected towards the nearest level of 5,900-5,950, said MNC Sekuritas.
On Tuesday, the top gainers were PT Roda Vivatex Tbk (IDX: RDTX) stock, after closed up 19.49 percent to Rp8,125 a share and PT Pabrik Kertas Tjiwi Kimia Tbk (IDX: TKIM) share which closed up 8.25 percent to Rp8,200 each.
While the top losers were PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (IDX: BMRI) and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (IDX: BBRI) shares which closed down 4.53 percent to Rp7,375 a piece dan 2.81 percent to Rp3,810 per share, respectively.
On Tuesday, there were 11 companies paying dividends, which if the total dividend value was combined reached Rp3.22 trillion.
PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (IDX: PGAS) is in first place with total dividends Rp1.38 trillion (US$95.38 million). Followed by PT Regional Development Banks of West Java and Banten Tbk (IDX: BJBR) and PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (IDX: WIKA) with total dividends of Rp 879.59 billion and Rp 346.05 billion, respectively.
PT Prodia Widyahusada Tbk (IDX: PRDA) is the issuer that distributes the largest dividend Rp93.57 per share. While the smallest dividend is PT Bank Bri Syariah Tbk (IDX: BRIS) with Rp1.09 a unit.
PT Nusa Raya Cipta Tbk (IDX: NRCA) became the company with the largest compensation rate (7.94 percent), followed by BJBR (5.24 percent) and PGAS (2.84 percent).
While the issuers with the smallest yield are BRIS and PT Kimia Farma Tbk (IDX: KAEF) with dividends yielding 0.44 percent.
Finance ministry has issued State Sharia Securities (PBS024) worth Rp 1.5 trillion and government bond Rp2 trillion through a private placement scheme on Tuesday (05/28). PBS024 has yields 8.55 percent with return is 8.375 percent per year and will expire on May 15, 2032. While FR0070 and FR0059 have a nominal issuance of Rp 1 trillion and can be traded on the secondary market.
