JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – The Jakarta Composite Index closed up 0.56 percent to 6,480.79 on Thursday (03/28), from a previous day which closed down 0.39 percent to 6,444.74. Amidst this strengthening, some issuers posted a decline in stock prices and some increased. This increasing was also accompanied by corporate actions by several issuers.

Top Gainers

Shares of PT Yelooo Integra Datanet Tbk (IDX: YELO) posted the sharpest price increase after closing surged 25 percent at Rp350 per share. Occupying the next strongest position is the shares of PT Victoria Insurance Tbk (IDX: VINS) which rose 16.67 percent and closed at Rp119 per share.

Top Losers

Shares of PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (IDX:JPFA) posted the deepest price decline after closing down 9.3 percent at Rp1,950 per share. Following the weakening of JPFA shares is PT Pool Advista Indonesia Tbk (IDX:POOL) share, which ended down 8.33 percent at Rp3,300 per share.

PT BRI Agroniaga Tbk (IDX: AGRO)

The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Agroniaga Tbk (IDX:AGRO) agreed to distribute dividends to shareholders in the amount of Rp40.84 billion (US$2.90 million) or 20 percent of the 2018 net income of Rp204.12 billion.

PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (IDX: BSDE)

Throughout 2018, Sinar Mas Group’ subsidiary recorded a decline in profit of 73.7 percent to Rp1.29 trillion, far different from the company’ net profit at the end of December 2017 which was recorded at Rp4.92 trillion. The decline in profit was due to operating revenues which also fell 35.93 percent to Rp6.62 trillion from operating revenues in the same period in the previous year worth Rp10.34 trillion.

PT Sampoerna Agro Tbk (IDX: SGRO)

The Plantation issuers pocketed a net profit of Rp55.52 billion in 2018, down 76 percent from Rp234.69 billion in 2017. In the 2018 financial report released on Thursday (03/28), sales reached Rp3.2 trillion, down 11.35 percent from Rp3.61 trillion in 2017. Meanwhile, the cost of goods sold was successfully lowered from Rp2.67 trillion in 2017 to Rp2.51 trillion in 2018.

PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (IDX: BBNI)

The state-owned lenderregistered the issuance of the Negotiable Certificates of Deposit I consisting of Series A, B, C and D into the collective custody of the Indonesian Central Securities Depository with a total value of Rp1 trillion.

PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (IDX: WTON)

As of March 2019, unit of PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (IDX: WIKA) has secured a new contract worth Rp1.4 trillion. That amount is equivalent to 16 percent of the target of the new contract targeted this year at Rp9 trillion.

Furthermore, Reliance Sekuritas Indonesia views the Jakarta Composite Index will be depressed at the level of 6425-6500. Shares that can still be observed are PT London Sumatra Tbk (IDX: LSIP), PT Indah Kiat Pulp amd Paper Tbk (IDX: INKP), PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk (IDX: INDF), PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (IDX: ICBP), PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (IDX: TLKM), PT Waskita Karya Tbk (IDX: WSKT), PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk (IDX: LPCK), PT Matahari Putra Prima Tbk (IDX: LPPF), PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (IDX: MNCN), and PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (IDX: SCMA).
