JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) - PT Bakrie Telecom Tbk (IDX:BTEL) said PT Huawei Tech Indonesia has officially become a shareholder of the company. Huawei has acquired 6.19 billion units of Bakrie Telecom shares through the company’s rights issue scheme, or equals to 16.83% of Bakrie Telecom shares. Huawei bought the shares at Rp200 per unit, or a total of Rp1.24 trillion, Bakrie said in a filing to the Indonesian Stock Exchange.
The other shareholders of Bakrie Telecom are PT Mahindo Agung Sentosa (13.59%), Raiffeisen Bank (6.02%), PT Bakrie Global Ventura (7.29%), PT Jasa Investindo (4.39%) and the Public (51.88%). (*)
