JCI likely to trade mixed today

JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) - Indonesian shares are expected to trade mixed today with a tendency to go up slightly supported by buying interest in selective stocks. Gains in Wall Street overnight may weigh on market sentiment.

On Wednesday, the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed down slightly 5.334 points or down 0.11% at 4,876.696, while LQ45 ended slightly lower by 1.938 points or down 0.23 percent at 845.702.

Regional stocks ended mixed on Wednesday with Tokyo shares ended slightly higher.

Reza Priyambada, head of research of NH Korindo Securities Indonesia) said he expects JCi trade within support level of 4,838-4,854 and resistance level of 4,889-4,902 points. He said the gains in Wall Street overnight could have positive on local market. If the market falls, it would declined slightly, therefore market players need to monitor market sentiments.
