JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – Indonesia’s State Own Enterprises (SOEs) ministry reappointed Sunarso as vice president (VP) director of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (IDX: BBRI), who left the position through decision on Oct. 18, 2018. The decision has been taken at the extraordinary shareholders meeting on Thursday (01/03).
Sunarso was born in Pasuruan on Nov. 7, 1963. Previously, He served as the CEO of state-owned pawnshop firm, PT Pegadaian replacing Riswinandi. He also held the position of BBRI’ VP Director from 2015 to Oct. 2018.
Before joined Bank Rakyat Indonesia, he served as Director of Commercial and Business Banking of PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (IDX: BMRI) from 2010 to 2015, and held other important positions at bank since 1999.
Beside reappointed Sunarso, the shareholders meeting dismissed Kuswiyoto from the position of director of corporate banking, and Jeffry J. Wurangian as a commissioner of the bank.
