PGAS obtains 37 billion BTU from ConocoPhillips

JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (IDX: PGAS) received 37 billion British thermal units (BTU) of natural gas from ConocoPhillips, which will be allocated to Dumai areas in Riau. President Director of the company Jobi Triananda Hasjim explained, the signing of agreement signing was done on May 17. The gas supply will flow throughout 2018 to 2023 through a network of Duri – Dumai transmission pipes.

PGN is currently finishing the construction of 137 kilometers distribution pipes that is predicted to be completed in 2018. The company is also working on the 67 kilometers Duri – Dumai pipe project. Currently, the state-owned company has constructed and operated natural gas pipe network measuring more than 7,200 kilometers across Indonesia. The company operates two floating storage and regasification units (FSRU), 11 gas refueling stations, and four mobile refueling units (MRU). (*)
