North Sulawesi Province exported frozen fish to 14 countries

North Sulawesi Province exported frozen fish to 14 countries inthird quarter of (Q3) 2015 as overseas demand increased. North Sulawesi exported 5.23 million tons of frozen fish in Q3 and earned $21.30 million. The United States is the main destination, imported 2.02 million tons and contributed $10.82 million to the province. Britain was in the second place with 1.99 million tons of frozen fish worth US$6.94 million. In Q3 2015, North Sulawesi exported a total of 30 commodities to 64 countries. Head of the North Sulawesi trade and industry office Jenny Karouw quoted by Antara, beside United States and United Kingdom other destinations are Thailand, Spain, the Netherlands, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Mauritius, the Philippines, South Africa, France, China and Malaysia.
