Tycoon Tomy Winata, through its Artha Graha, is building the tallest building in Dili, East Timor, joint hands with Franky Tjahyadikarta, the co-founder of Alila Hotels and Resorts, The Timor News, reported on Saturday.
The construction work for the superblock that consist of a mall, office tower and hotel, is being taken care by Indonesian state-builder PTPP. The building that cost around Rp 1 trillion in investment is built on a 15,000 square meter.
The groundbreaking for the iconic 28 floor building named AGP Square was held on Nov. 16. It was witnessed by Timor Leste government officials, including Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao and his deputy Fernando Lasama de Araujo.
