JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – The Jakarta Composite Index closed down 0.25 percent to 6,452.61, although the index was opened with a gain of 0.26 percent at 6,485.72.

In the midst of this weakening, some issuers posted the increasing of shares and others recorded declining. In addition, there were several issuers that carry out corporate actions and report the 2018 financial performance

Top Gainers

The shares of PT Sanurhasta Mitra Tbk (IDX: MINA) posted the sharpest price increase with an increase of 20.71 percent to the level of Rp1,195 per share. Following the strengthening of SRAJ was the shares of PT Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (IDX: HDFA), which rose 16 percent at Rp174 per share.

Top Losers

Shares of PT Berlian Laju Tanker Tbk (IDX: BLTA) posted the deepest price decline after closing down 34.38 percent to as low as Rp83 per share. Occupying the next weakest position is the shares of PT Cahayaputra Asa Keramik Tbk (IDX: CAKK) which ended down 25 percent at Rp192 per share.

PT ABM Investama Tbk (IDX: ABMM)

The mining issuer recorded a net profit increase of 1.075 percent to US$65.49 million in 2018 from $5.57 million in the previous year. This in line with ABMM’ net income which increased 11.9 percent to $773.05 million from the previous year’s $690.73 million.

PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (IDX: MDKA)

The minerals producer obtained a $100 million financing facility from Barclays Bank PLC. This fund will be used by MDKA for repayment of the debt of its subsidiary Eastern Field Developments Limited (EFDL) to Singapore’ Standard Chartered Bank, which is worth $50 million and to PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk (IDX:SRTG).

PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk (IDX: SMCB)

Cement producer previously known as PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk, recorded a net loss of Rp827.98 billion, an increase of 9.22 percent in 2018 from a loss in 2017 which reached Rp758.05 billion due to the depreciation of the rupiah.

PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (IDX: CPIN)

Poultry and poultry food issuers posted a net profit of Rp4.55 trillion, up 82.11 percent year-on-year from 2017 at Rp2.5 trillion. The achievement of the company’ net profit was inseparable from the increase in sales which grew 9.3 percent to Rp53.96 trillion from the previous Rp.49.37 trillion.

PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (IDX: EMTK)

The media holding company recorded a loss of Rp2.3 trillion last year even though previously it recorded a profit of Rp447.94 billion due to cost of goods which increased to Rp6.12 trillion. Though EMTK’s net income was recorded at Rp8.96 trillion in 2018, an increase of 18 percent from the previous year of Rp7.59 trillion.

Furthermore, Reliance Sekuritas rate, the Jakarta Composite Index will still move depressed at the level of 6,391-6,500. Shares that can still be observed include PTTunas Baru Lampung Tbk (IDX: TBLA), PT London Sumatra Tbk (IDX: LSIP), PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk (IDX: JPFA), PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (IDX: CPIN), PT Malindo Feedmil Tbk (IDX: MAIN ), PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk (IDX: BNGA), PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk (IDX: GMFI), PT Indika Energy Tbk (IDX: INDY), PT Antam Tbk (IDX: ANTM), PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk ( IDX: LPCK), PT Erajaya Swasembada Tbk (IDX: ERAA) and PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (IDX: MAPI).
