Indonesia will open cinema business for foreign

Indonesia government considers to open cinema exhibition for foreign investor and allow them to have 51 percent in the business. Currently BKPM, ministries and government agencies are conducting a review on the investment guidelines as the revision of Presidential Decree Number 39 Year 2014 on the list of business fields closed and open with the stated requirements. The government expects the new investment guideline to be completed by April 2016. Chairman of BKPM Franky Sibarani in official statement released on Wednesday, said there are areas of business for the film industry, namely the production, distribution and exhibition of the cinema.
