JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – Indonesian government set the reference price for crude palm oil (CPO) products for export duties US$1,093.83 a metric ton (MT) in April, or up 5.56 percent from March at $1,036.22 per MT. Several mining prices for export duty also rising in this month.

The director general a the ministry of trade, Didi Sumedi, said in a statement released on Thursday (04/01), caused the benchmark price of CPO exceeded the threshold at $750 per MT, the government imposes export duties at $116 a MT of CPO in April. While, the reference price for cocoa beans at $2,565 per MT, up 2.6 percent to last month was $2,499.04 a MT.

This has an impact on increase in export benchmark price of cocoa beans in April from $2,111 per MT to $2,276 a MT, or up 2.94 percent to he previous month. The ministry also reported the mining products experienced an increase was copper concentrate (Cu≥15 percent) with an average price $3,253.14/WE or up 5.06 percent from the previous month.

Then, ferrous concentrates (hematite, magnetite) (Fe≥62 perent and ≤1 percent TiO2) average price of $152.12/WE or an increase of 5.48 percent. In addition, laterite iron concentrates (gutite, hematite, magnetite) with levels (Fe≥50 percent and (Al2O3 + SiO2) ≥10 percent) with an average price of $77.73/WE or up 5.48 percent and manganese concentrate (Mn≥49 percent) with an average price of $213.63/WE or rose 2.58 percent compared to March.

As for zinc concentrate (Zn≥51 percent) with an average price of $760.96/WE or an increase of 4.42 percent over March, and iron sand concentrate (lamella magnetite – ilmenite) (Fe≥56 percent) with an average price of $90.83/WE or increased up 5.48 percent.

Furthermore, ilmenite concentrate (TiO2≥45 percent) with an average price of $405.63/WE or jumped by 10.57 percent, rutile concentrate (TiO2≥90 percent) with an average price of $1,088.40/WE or rose by 3.75 perent, and washed bauxite (Al2O3≥42 percent) with the average price was $29.32/WE or up by 7.15 percent from March.

The products experienced lower prices compared to the the previous month is lead concentrate (Pb≥56 percent) with an average price of $827.49/WE or down 2.12 percent. And, iron sand concentrate pellets (lamella magnetite-ilmenite) (Fe≥ 54 percent) were not experienced changes with an average price of $117.98/WE.
