JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – The Indonesian government has prepared an infrastructure funds worth of Rp414.0 trillion (US$28.55 billion) in 2021, said public work and public house minister on Friday (08/14). The country has plans to build 10 airports, 378 kilometers (km) of railway lines, 678 km of roads, 13.1 km of bridges, 47 units of dams, and 20,000 hectares of irrigation networks

Then, the government also aimed to develop 11,650 flats and special houses, access to sanitation and solid waste for 1.04 million families, 120,776 household gas networks, 25,000 conversion of fuel to gas fuel for fishermen, provision of base transceiver station in 5,053 locations, and the Palapa Ring network.

According to the minister, Basuki Hadimuljono in a virtual conference, next year’ infrastructure funds will be allocated for road infrastructure development worth of Rp35.81 trillion. The toll road construction is targeted along 831 kilometers at the border of Kalimantan, East Nusa Tenggara, Trans Papua, East Java, Aceh, Trans Outer Islands, Toll Exit in Lampung, and Brebes in Central Java.

Then, bypass road in Mandalika, West Nusa Tenggara, Syamsudin Noor Airport in South Kalimantan, Manado Outer Ring Road in North Sulawesi, Kendari City Circle in Southeast Sulawesi, Shortcut of Mengwitani – Singaraja in Bali, Molang Island – Bululawang in East Java. The ministry also plans to build road along 1,279.5 km for access to food estates in Central Kalimantan, Lhoksumawe in North Aceh, Padang – Pairan in West Sumatra, and Tumbusi – Tanjung Berikat in Riau Islands.

In addition, inner city roads in South Sumatra, Karangnongko – Toyan in Central Java , Madiur – Caruban in East Java, Anjir Pasar – Serapat in South Kalimantan, Medan – Berastagi in North Sumatra, Probolinggo – Grobogan in East Java, Palur – Sragen – Mantingan in Central Java. Moreover, the construction of a 19.88 meter of long bridge with funds of Rp6.27 trillion in the Batang and Subang industrial areas, Yogyakarta, Bali, West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, North Kalimantan, Trans Papua, Trans Maluku and North Sumatra.

Also, flyovers, underpasses and tunnels worth Rp1.09 trillion along 3,116 meters in Bekasi, West Java, Central Java and Riau Islands. Hadimuljono stated his ministry also has plans to develop freeway road for 35 km with funding of Rp2.74 trillion in Banten, West Java, Central Java and rationalization of toll rates.

Other projects, he continued, includes the construction of drinking water supply Rp5.93 trillion, sanitation Rp7.03 trillion, residential areas Rp.3.33 trillion, buildings Rp1.48 trillion, educational facilities Rp.5.93 trillion, sports facilities and markets Rp1.53 trillion, and other support. Rp1.33 trillion.
