The pension fund management industry noted an assets growth of 11.08 percent to Rp214.64 trillion in February 2016. While, pension fund managers established by financial institutions recorded an assets growth of 39.49 percent to Rp51.44 trillion, year on year. The employer-established pension fund managers that provide defined benefit retirement plans posted a 10.41-percent growth to Rp22.93 trillion and the pension fund that run contribution retirement plans recorded an assets growth of 3.46 percent to Rp140.27 trillion. The pension fund industry as a whole recorded an assets under management (AUM) value of Rp206.39 trillion in the same period. The figure represents an 11.50 percent year-on-year growth.
