JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) - Indonesia’s House Speaker Setya Novanto has resigned after weeks of public pressure.
The news of his resignation was first reported by Metro TV. Minutes latter, a member of the House Council of Ethic (MKD) said MKD has received the House Speaker resignation letter.
The call for him to resign mounts as he was implicated in a rent seeking case with regard to Freeport shares.
