JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) - PT Barito Pacific Tbk (IDX:BRPT) recorded net profit of US$279.8 million, surged from US$184,000 in previous year, supported by a rise in revenues and a decline in cost of goods sales. In the year, the company booked revenues of US$1.96 billion, increased from Rp1.41 billion in previous year.
Barito posted costs of goods sales of US$1.47 billion, compared to US$1.27 billion in previous year. As a result its gross profit rose to US$487.5 million from US$139.1 million in previous year. Its pre-tax profit reached US$380.04 million, compared to US$34.8 million in previous year. (*)
