Uber Appoints Monika Rudijono as New Head for Indonesia

JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – Uber Technologies Inc., on Wednesday announced the appointment of Monika Rudijono as the company’s new President Director of Indonesia Uber, starting January 2018. She replaces Alan Jiang.

Monika currently holds the position as head of marketing and advertising in the global advertising company, Gray Group Indonesia.

She leads Uber Indonesia at the time the ride-sharing market is in fierce competition.  Uber, however, is confident that she will be able to deal with the Indonesian market.

“With two decades of experience building brands and leading businesses in the country, we are excited to see Monika step into this critical role to lead the next stage of Uber’s growth in one of the largest ridesharing markets in the world,” Uber said in a statement.

Monika Rudijono earned her Business Administration in Marketing and Finance at the Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, USA. (*)
