JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) – Two local banks plan to issue Rupiah bonds with a total values Rp1.15 trillion (US$82.14 million), said both management on Wednesday (11/13). PT Bank QNB Indonesia Tbk (IDX: BKSW) offered bonds Rp500 billion while other lender, PT Bank UOB Indonesia, release subordinate bonds Rp650 billion.

Previously, unit of Qatar’ QNB Group had issued local bond with an amount Rp100 billion. For the new emission, as much as Rp450 billion will be issued with 7.1 percent interest rate and tenure 370 days. The rest of it, Rp50 billion, will be issued with the best effort.

The offering time for the bond issuance on Nov. 20 – 21 and targeting to be listing at the bourse on Nov. 27. PT Indo Premier Sekuritas acted as the underwriter for the corporate action.

Then, Bank UOB Indonesia offered the Rupiah bond with interest rate of 9.25 percent and have ten years of tenure. This notes received an AA rating from PT Fitch Ratings Indonesia. Three underwriters namely PT Indo Premier Sekuritas, PT RHB Sekuritas Indonesia and PT UOB Kay Hian Sekuritas helped the issuance.

The bank set the offering period for the bonds on Nov. 8 to be listing at Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Nov. 14. The funds from the bond issuances will be used to strengthen the capital structure and support the two bank businesses.

The bourse noted there are still 13 companies that will issue bonds until the end of 2019. The potential funds from the issuers is estimating worth of Rp18.22 trillion.

Of the 13 companies that will issue bonds, as many as seven companies are financial institutions. In details, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (IDX: BBRI) will issue bonds Rp5 trillion, PT Bank Mandiri Taspen Rp1 trillion, PT Bank BTPN Tbk (IDX: BTPN) Rp1 trillion, and PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk (IDX: BNGA), will issue bonds Rp2 trillion and subordinated notes Rp1 trillion.

Then, PT Bussan Auto Finance as much as Rp1.5 trillion, PT Usaha Indonesia Reliance Financing Rp600 billion, and PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance with a value Rp1.5 trillion.

Other companies are PT Kereta Api Indonesia will issue bonds of Rp2 trillion, PT Voksel Electric (IDX: VOKS) Rp500 billion bonds. and PT Hartadinata Abadi Tbk (IDX: HRTA) Rp600 billion, PT Barito Pacific Tbk (IDX: BRPT) Rp750 billion, PT Jaya Bersama Indo Tbk (IDX: DUCK) Rp375 billion, and PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (IDX: MDKA) Rp400 billion.

The IDX noted, the total issuance of bonds and SUKUK until end of 2019 its expecting to reached 86 emissions from 45 issuers with a value of Rp101.04 trillion. Currently, total outstanding SUKUK and bond emissions has been listed at the local bourse Rp442.01 trillion and $47.5 million from 118 issuers.
