The Insider Stories Morning Notes - JCI expected to go up on higher Wall Street, awaiting Q3 results

JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) - Indonesian shares are expected to go up today, continuing recent days trend. Market players may opt to target certain stocks on hopes of improved third quarter results. Gains in Wall Street overnight could boost shares trading.

On Tuesday, the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) ended up 20 points or 0.36 percent at 5,430.05 points, with trading value reaching Rp5.3 trillion.

Asjaya Indosurya said in its morning notes to investors that technically the JCI is expected to move within support level of 5,350 points and resistance level of 5,488 points today.

“JCI is still looking confident to carry on its uptrend,” Indosurya said. The chance to go up is larger now as selling pressure on socks appears to have eased, it said.”In the short term, the JCI could be boosted by the release of Q3 results. Today, the JCI has a good chance to go up,” it said.
