JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) - Indonesian shares are expected to be flat today amid lack of fresh leads that could trigger active trading. Investors are likely to be cautious while awaits for fresh leads.
On Friday, the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) lost 0.60 percent or 32.19 points to 5,377.15 after moving within range 5,363.47 - 5,409.19. As many as 139 stocks declined, 138 increased and 261 stocks were unchanged.
Asjaya Indosurya said in its morning notes that technically the JCI is projected to move within support level of 5,336 and resistance level of 5,488 today.
“The JCI is still in consolidation phase. The stocks decline could be seen as momentum to buy stocks,” it said. At the current level, the JCI is likely to test the resistance level of 5,488 before going up further. Nevertheless, the JCI could still go up today, it said.
