JAKARTA - Followings are some news brief that may affect shares trading:
- PT Multi Bintang Indonesia Tbk (MLBI, Rp11,150) posted a positive performance. The first half of 2016, the Bintang beer producer reported a net profit more than doubled to Rp445,83 billion from the previous Rp179,57 billion.
- PT Hanjaya Mandala Sampoerna Tbk (HMSP, Rp3,980, NEUTRAL, TP Rp4,300) released Marlboro Filter Black in packs of 20 cigarettes in a pack Rp20.000 price recommendations.
- Currently, the government and parliament is preparing a revision of Law No.4 / 2009 on Mineral and Coal Mining (Mining Law). Based on the Mining Law, the raw mineral exports have been banned since 2014 to encourage downstream domestic mineral. However, the government still gives leeway to companies that are committed to build a smelter.
- By the end of August 2016, the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) recorded total emission of bonds and sukuk as much as 46 emissions of 36 listed companies worth Rp65,14 trillion.
