*Step of the Federal Reserve (Fed) increase their benchmark rate 25 basis points considered not too influential Indonesia economy, according to Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati. She said, this was due to the strong economic foundation Indonesia sufficient.
*PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) will issue four series negotiable certificate of deposit totaling Rp2,66 trillion on Dec. 16 with the type of zero interest rate (discounted). Based on the announcement page Indonesian Central Securities Depository, NCD Series A worth Rp927 billion, due on Dec. 21, 2017. Meanwhile, Series B amounting to Rp500 billion which matured on June 15, 2018, Series C amounting to Rp350 billion, which matures on Dec. 14, 2018 and Series D has a value of Rp885 billion, which matures on Dec. 13, 2019.
*West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil prices settled at around US$51 per barrel after Kuwait said it will cut more supply to consumers in the US and Europe. The price of WTI for January delivery fell 0.14 points to a level of $50.90 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Meanwhile, Brent crude for February delivery rose 0.12 points to the level of US $54.02 per barrel on the ICE Futures Europe exchange based in London.
*Rubber prices closed higher yesterday, following the suppression of the Japan’s Yen. Rubber price for delivery May 2017, the most active contract on the Tokyo Commodity Exchange, close higher 3.64% or 9.90 points to 282.20 yen per kilogram.
*Comex gold prices fell in trading on Thursday (15/12). Comex gold for February contract down 2.21% to US$1.138 per ounce. Gold pressured to 10-month closing low, after the market was given a surprise Fed rate hike for the first time this year. Over the past month, the precious metal has been depressed since the price traders suspected the increase in interest rates, thus reducing the attractiveness of the assets that do not pay dividends among other results or gold.
*PT MNC Capital Indonesia Tbk (BCAP, Rp1,500) release its shareholding in PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Banten Tbk (BEKS, Rp59). BCAP announced that on Dec. 8 sold about 3.54 billion shares at a price of Rp18 per share dan 1,91 billion shares at the price of Rp19 per share.
*PT Sampoerna Agro Tbk (SGRO, Rp1.895) and PT Arkananta Cahaya Indah (ACI) has sold all of the shares of PT Pertiwi danmengalihkan Lenggara Dhanistha Agromas to PT Surya Nusantara (DSN) and PT Surya Nusantara Sawitindo (SNS). Direktur SGRO, Budi Setiawan Halim said, the company has approximately 114.999 million shares in the PLA, while ACI control of the 50 stocks that PLA. While, DSN bought 114.999 million shares owned by the company and 49 shares owned by ACI and ACI bought one share owned by the PLA.
