The Insider Stories Market Briefs

JAKARTA - Followings are some market news that may affect shares trading today:

*Indonesian airline PT Sriwijaya Air plans to launch IPO in March of 2017 at PT Indonesia Stock Exchange. Sriwijaya group owner, Chandra Lie said, the amount of shares to be released to the public is still being dicussed. With an increasing capital, Sriwijaya Air plans to increase its fleet with the new aircraft type AR 357-300 aircraft serving routes for the long flight like to China and other ASEAN countries.

*PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) will issue bonds titled Bond Bank Mandiri Phase I 2016 worth Rp 5 trillion in three series. The A series bonds worth Rp 1.1 trillion carry coupon rate of 7.95% per annum and will mature in five-years on 30 September 2021. The Series B bonds were amounting to Rp 1.5 trillion, with a coupon rate at 8.5% and will mature in seven years on 30 September 2023. The C series bonds are worth Rp 2.4 trillion, with a coupon of 8.65%. The 10-year series bonds will mature on 30 September 2026.

The offering has been going on Sept. 23 to 27 and followed by listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Oct. 3. PT Mandiri Sekuritas, PT Bahana Securities, PT Danareksa Sekuritas and PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk acted as underwriter in this bonds issue. The Bond issuance is part of Bond I Bank Mandiri with a targeted total fund of Rp 14 trillion.

*Australian dairy exports to Indonesia is pushed back to the starting position with the B2B scheme. Indonesia’s imports of milk has dropped 20% YoY in 1H16 to US $450.5 million, with Australia and New Zealand are mainly the largest.

*One of the financing subsidiary of PT Astra International Tbk (ASII, Rp8.425, NEUTRAL TP Rp8.200), PT Astra Sedaya Finance is launching bonds, Phase II bonds, worth Rp1.7 trillion with coupon rate of 7.25% - 7.95%. (*)
