JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) - Saudi Arabia King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has arrived at Halim Perdana Kusumah Airport at around 12.45 pm.
He was greeted by President Joko Widodo at the airport, cabinet ministers and other diplomats. The Saudi King got off from the King’s airline with a special escalator, which has arrived few days ago.
The Saudi King and his entourage will soon head to Bogor State Palace via Jagorawi toll road.
The Indonesian government and the Saudi Arabia government are expected to sign 10 agreements in various sectors during the visit of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud’s visit, who will start his visit from today until March 9, 2017.
Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Osama bin Mohammed Abdullah Al Shuaibi said King Salman will arrive today and will stay in Jakarta for official visit until March 4. He will then head for Brunnei Darrusallam for a brief visit on March 4 and in the same day will go to Bali. He and his entourage will stay in Bali for unofficial visit until March 12 before heading to Japan.
The Indonesian government has prepared tight security during the King’s visit and made preparation for about three months. The Police will deploy around 9,000 personnels in Bogor, where King Salman and President Joko Widodo will hold bilateral talks. (*)
