JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) - Directorate General for Taxation at the Finance Ministry will launch the NPWP (Tax Identity Number) Smart Card in July 2017 which will be called Kartu Indonesia Satu (KARTIN1). The prototype of the card will be launched on March 31 by the Taxation Office in cooperation with Bank Mandiri as a card provider. Other banks will also take part in the program as card providers for their customers. The NPWP Smart Card will contain ID card number, e-Card (e-KTP), driving license (SIM) as well as credit card information. As for credit card service, the provider should obtain approval from Bank Indonesia before launching NPWP Smart Card which is linked with credit card. (*)
