Insider Stories - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to witness grounbreaking of Holtekam bridge and number of other projects in public works sector in Jayapura, Papua provinces.

The bridge that would link Jayapura and a number of outer regions including the border area with Papua New Guinea is estimated to cost Rp 800 billion.

The project will receive funding from the state budget and regional government budget.

The bridge that is set to be completed in 2018 will span a distance of 600 meters in the sea.

Head of the Papua Public Works office Michael Kambuaya said a numbers of road projects in district areas in Papua and West Papua will completed at the time.
