Insider Stories - PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO) now is the biggest listed coal miner in Indonesia by market value.

Data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange shows the company had Rp 36.8 trillion market capitalization at the end of trading day on Wednesday.

The stock actually declined 0.87 percent to Rp 1,140 per share on the day.

However, its closest competitor PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) posted a bigger decline. Its stocks fell 1.56 percent to Rp 31,500.

ITMG's total market capitalization was Rp 36.2 trillion.

Adaro is controlled by five majority owners: Edwin Soeryadjaya, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, Teddy Rachmat, the Thohir family and Benny Subianto.
