(Insider Stories) - The Indonesian government plans to boost exports to Brazil and Peru as it seeks to bolster trade fundamentals by shipping more goods to fellow emerging markets. Deputy Trade Minister Bayu Krisnmurthi will lead a trade mission to the countries Sept.  11-13 to explore the market in Latin America.

The weakening global economy has reduced Indonesia's exports to traditional markets such as the U.S. and EU. Trade volumes between Indonesia and Brazil and Peru were US$3.4 billion and US$323.5 million respectively in 2012.
