Coinciding with the 14th anniversary of the tsunami in Aceh on Wednesday (12/26), presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto participated in a historical commemoration ceremony in remembrance of the tsunami that killed hundreds of thousands of residents in the province.

Foreign net sell in stocks market recorded only Rp213.82 billion (US$14.74 million). But accumulatively, the net sell from early 2018 reached Rp51.85 trillion.
Amid these uncertain global conditions, the gold price has seemed to be a safe haven. Analysts predict that gold price will keep strengthening until the end of this year.
Then, the Energy and Mineral Resources (EMR) ministry will soon announce the winner of the third’ oil and gas blocks auction. This is last auction held by the government in 2018. There are four exploration blocks beg offered namely South Andaman, South Sakakemang, Anambas, and Maratua.
In the last couple of days, the ministry was still evaluating the offerings. According to EMR deputy minister Archandra Tahar, there are three investors who submitted the bids. One of those is state-owned enterprise PT Pertamina while two others are foreign companies.
Furthermore, the Transportation Ministry released a new order about online transportation, stated in Ministry Regulation Number 118 Year 2018 about Organizing Special Rental Services to replace the previous rule. The adjustment covers minimum service standards, tariff limit, and suspension implementation.
Online transportation applications cannot exceed tariff assigned by the ministry, range at Rp3,500 to Rp6,000 per kilo meter. Meanwhile, suspension will be classified as light, medium, heavy, and very heavy. Sanction for each category is different, consideration for heavy and criminal for very heavy.
