Kimia Farma distributes 20% of 2016 net profit as dividend, overhauls BoD

JAKARTA (TheInsiderStories) - Shareholders of state owned pharmaceutical company PT Kimia Farma Tbk have decided at the company’s annual shareholders meeting (AGM) to distribute Rp53.48 billion as dividend, representing 20 percent of the company’s 2016 net profit of RpRp271.59 billion.

In 2016, the company’s net profit rose 2.28 percent from previous year. In the year, it booked revenues of Rp5.81 trillion, up 19.57 percent from previous year of Rp4.86 trillion.

The AGM also made changes to the company’s board of directors (BoD). Those that were dismissed are:
- President Director Rusdi Rosman
- Finance Director Farida Astuti
- Director for Development Pujianto
- Director for Supply Chain Jisman Siagian
- Director for General Affairs M. Wahyudi Syafari

New Directors were appointed as follows:
- Honesti Basyir as President Director
- I.G.N. Suharta Wijaya as Finance Director
- Pujianto as Director for Business Developemnt
- Verdi Budidarmo as Director for Production and Supply Chain
- Arif Pramuhanto as Director for General Affairs and Human Capital.
